10th Conference on Emerging Adulthood: How
will it work?
The official conference is scheduled to run
from 9:00am to 5:45pm Eastern Daylight Time (New
York Time), followed by a Social Event. The
conference platform will be open a few days
before the conference for attendees to
familiarize themselves and become more
comfortable with the platform and create their
own personalized agenda.
Keynote, Master Lectures, and Other
Invited Sessions: These sessions will
be completely live. The session chair will
introduce the speakers, who will present for
approximately 25 minutes, followed by a
20-minute discussion. During this discussion
time, speakers will answer audience questions
selected by the moderator from the Q&A section.
Thematic, Standard Symposia, and Data
Blitz Sessions: These sessions will
contain pre-recorded presentations. Recordings
will be broadcasted first with authors present.
The presentations will be followed by a live Q&A
session moderated by the session chair, who will
receive the audience questions and direct them
to the assigned author.
Panel Symposia Sessions: These
sessions will be completely live. The session
chair will introduce the speakers, who discuss a
specific topic or theme for approximately 30
minutes, followed by a 15-minute discussion.
During this discussion time, speakers will
answer audience questions selected by the
moderator from the Q&A section.
Posters: Posters will not be
hosted in a specific room but will be available
for viewing on the conference platform as
e-posters during set times. Authors are expected
to be available online for a private or public
chat to answer any questions and interact with
the audience during designated poster sessions.
Preconference Workshops and Special
Innovative Session: These sessions will
be hosted live via a Zoom link that
preregistered participants will access via the
event platform. Given the diversity of chairs
and topics, each session will have its own
dynamic, which the session host will explain.
Important: You need to preregister for these
sessions when you register for the conference.
Social and Networking Events:
The conference committee will provide
opportunities for engaging social session during
the conference and after the formal conference
program end. Conference participants will have
an opportunity to participate in networking and
social events. While many could be attended
spontaneously, some events might require you to
sign up.
If you miss any of the presentations or
sessions, these will be available on-demand on
the conference platform for 30 days after the
conference ends.
