The second SSEA Thematic Conference “Lights and Shadows of Close Relationships in Emerging Adulthood: New Topics and New Methods” will take place in Milan, Italy, between May 27 – May 29, 2020. The conference will be hosted by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and chaired by Prof. Margherita Lanz and Prof. Semira Tagliabue (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore). On May 27th, in the afternoon, a pre-conference workshop will be held on “Research Methods for the Study of Relationships”. The Thematic Conference aims to collect contributions that can show both lights and shadows of emerging adults’ close relationships in different relational contexts (family, education, work, online) in order to have new insights to develop interventions. Close and family relationships are consolidated research topics in emerging adulthood literature and new research questions are arising due to current social and cultural challenges.
